Australian comedian, writer, television presenter and professional architecture nerd - Tim Ross, returns to the LFA for the fifth time for a series of intimate shows in the Isokon Flats designed by Wells Coats in 1933.
Step inside Britain’s first modernist flats as they become the starting point for Tim to share his thoughts on the romance of modernism and then continue on a wide ranging, thought provoking and often hilarious journey on the power of inventive architecture to shape our lives.
Part slideshow, part stand-up comedy and part architecture talk, A Night in the Isokon sees Tim doing what he loves best – telling stories anchored by his passion for architecture. This show is a must for all design lovers.
Join him this ground breaking and iconic building which holds important lessons on how radical ideas for living in the past can help us reimagine how we will live in the future.
Tim Ross is the author of five books and has created and presented the award-winning series Streets of Your Town and Designing a Legacy for ABC TV.
He’s an honorary fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects and the recipient of their President’s Prize.
