Bushra Mohamed, Director of Msoma Architects, will talk about how the practice draws inspiration from architecture found on the African Continent, learning from its inherent use of sustainable materials, intelligent adaptable vernacular technologies and community-focused spatial models. LFA's theme of 'Reimagine' is explored through Msoma's work in community engagement and having a sustainability agenda that includes social as well as carbon impact to ensure a more equitable future for our cities.
Everyone is welcome to attend, especially those wanting to hear more about a practice that is interested in themes of home, belonging and migration, and making cities more equitable.
Free, booking essential. Doors will open at 6pm.
