Join us for free at our Open Day to enjoy fun activities and take the opportunity to share your thoughts on how we can Reimagine the future use and offer at Crofton Roman Villa.
Crofton Roman Villa was occupied from AD 140 to 400 and was originally at the centre of a 500-acre farming estate. While the remains of 10 rooms can still be seen today, it is expected that there were over 20 rooms when the villa was at its largest.
This valued heritage asset is the only Roman Villa accessible to the public in London. After many years of use, the building that protects the Ancient Crofton Roman Villa is now in need of repairs to ensure its continued viability as a visitor attraction.
The building will be refurbished later in 2024 and expected to reopen in Spring 2025.
