Visitors are invited to 66 Portland Place after hours to enjoy a unique programme celebrating their Raise the Roof: Building for Change exhibition. New to their Architecture Gallery it explores narratives and attitudes embedded within the fabric of their headquarters unpacking themes such as gender, race, and imperialism through a series of new and exciting creative works.
Throughout the building, visitors will also be able to see displays on influential industry figures like Royal Gold Medallist Lesley Lokko who has devoted her career to amplifying under-represented voices, visit Europe’s leading specialist architectural bookshop, take a curator-led tour around Raise the Roof, listen to talks by commissioned artists, designers and architects, enjoy film screenings, and hear soundscapes that reimagine RIBA’s historic headquarters.
