Lucent Twilight Tours
As London's West End lights start to sparkle, join us for a twilight tour of Lucent - a remarkable mixed-use development that has reimagined the spaces behind London’s iconic Piccadilly Lights. This tour offers a unique opportunity to understand the rich history of the surrounding neighbourhood and how Lucent's innovative design has reimagined the streetscape of this landmark setting, visited by millions each year.
The tour will commence at the Shaftesbury memorial fountain at Piccadilly Circus. Led by members of the team who delivered the project, the exterior tour will provide insight into the design of Lucent and how the site's extraordinary history continues to inform and inspire how it is experienced today. In true West End spirit, participants are invited to join us at the local pub for a drink afterwards. The entire tour will last approximately 1 hour.
About Lucent:
Officially launched in October 2023, Lucent is a testament to architectural ingenuity and urban revitalisation. Owned by Landsec and developed by Landsec and FPA, this landmark took on a transformative journey in 2017 to rejuvenate the historic Piccadilly area. The project integrates modern functionality with the timeless charm of 13 heritage buildings, offering a vibrant mix of office, retail, residential, and dining spaces.
Three tour groups are starting at 5:30 pm, 5:45 pm, and 6:00 pm. 100% of ticket costs will be donated to a local charity. Spaces are capped at 15 people per tour.
