Join two professional dancers as they explore the transitory space surrounding WilkinsonEyre's 2022 LSBU Hub. Through interactive performance, reimagine the space with brand new choreography and explores its potential through site-specific research.
The event is part of a broader interdisciplinary project focussed on the contrast between the planned use of space and the emergent behaviours that arise once inhabited - the gap between ‘should’ and ‘would’.
Building upon year-long research by LSBU's MArch Studio 03, it recognises the potential of performance in uncovering the social and cultural narratives embedded within our built environment.
We actively encourage participation from individuals beyond architectural practice whilst offering architects the opportunity to reconsider liminal space through a practically applicable methodology.
Catch performances at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm, followed by an exhibition and panel discussion at 4pm (see other listings!) . Don't miss this opportunity to experience the intersection of art and research firsthand.
