Re-imagining Public Spaces in Tower hill

Places of ARcture invites people to an interactive workshop that will explore Re-imagining Public Spaces in Tower hill including the Trinity square gardens, Tower gardens near the London wall as an experiment of activating a historical public space in a busy area in London. Participants will experience being a planner of their own public spaces using basic landscaping, planning tools and scale/functionality.

After getting familiarise with the tower hill public spaces, participants will be invited to share their ideas about re-imagining the tower hill public spaces to be used for the benefit of everyone, then apply their ideas in a master plan using a variety of techniques they learn through the co creation workshop.

This workshop developed by a Syrian architect Muhammad Achour who based in Dublin, Ireland and delivered to communities, families, and students in collaboration with Architectural associations, companies, museums, art centres and city councils, for students and families. We invite residents, workers, owners, professionals, and students. Young, adults and families.

During the workshop, participants will be introduced to the ideas and plans for the same site which was made by Syrian students who experienced the same workshop in Aleppo.
