Join us for an open discussion on how we can reimagine and revitalise our high street spaces. Our high streets in London have long been the beating heart of our communities, serving as vibrant hubs for commerce, culture, and social interaction. In recent years, many businesses on the high street have faced several challenges, grappling with changing consumer behaviours and economic hardship.
Really Local Group Founder Preston Benson will be presenting a talk on the Throwley Yard regeneration project, as well as the wider work Really Local Group are doing reimagining high street spaces across London and the South West. Really Local Group creates and restores cultural infrastructure through the regeneration and renewal of the UK’s high streets. Their newest venue, Throwley Yard Cinema, formerly Chicago’s nightclub, is now a 4-screen cinema, bar, live event space and DJ school nestled in the heart of Sutton High Street.
