TheFarmLondon: Reimagine London being farmed, by everyone, for everyone (Part 1)

18 June 2024

10:00 -18:00

TheFarmLondon is a concept space or spaces, that’s has grown slowly from an initial few planters to now producing many kilos of food. Although the concept has fixed home is in SE24 we would like the farm to cover lots of parts of the city. In this event, you can explore an innovative Urban Farm project that has been created from all waste materials.

This event is for students and practitioners interested in sustainable cities and circular approaches to the built environment, growers, gardeners, as well as anyone with Green Fingers or those wishing to learn something new!
Come along if you're interested in :
- Helping build a giant growing wall with hundreds of used plastic bottles. Plant with seeds and seedlings and come back 4 weeks later and to see your work in action.
- Learning how to grow using unique techniques learnt from years of practice with minimal cost and maximum returns.
- Taking away this knowledge and spreading it around London and others cities, walls, yards and unused outdoor areas and turning them into great growing areas for food production.

The event is in two parts - you are more than welcome to come to both or just one. Tickets required per event.
