Tottenham Tales Walk

29 June 2024

10:30 -12:30

Join us on a guided walk of Tottenham to launch Tottenham Tales.

Tottenham has a rich and fascinating tapestry of tales of local rebels, artists, pioneers and more. The diverse communities that have called Tottenham home create a legacy of places, stories, art, and culture. Tottenham Tales is a new sign-posted walking trail and digital map that highlights this rich history and bring it to the present day. Join us for a guided walk to hear more of these forgotten stories across Tottenham– from the Mulberry Tree that brought us the Tottenham Cake, to iconic protests and rebellions, ground-breaking artists, and legendary cultural venues…

The tour will take us around Tottenham, a treasure hunt for the new Tottenham Tale signage that highlight the buildings and sites that hold remnants of these tales, supported by an online map to bring archive material to life.
