This year, we teamed up with Architecture LGBT+ at London Pride to present the people-powered float entitled ‘Homes in every Hue’.
Designed by Andre Kong Studio, the float underscored the significance of shelter and housing for everyone in our towns and cities. Draping fabrics were suspended between house-shaped structures constructed from reclaimed timber palettes and scaffold boards sources from construction sites.
Celebrating diversity and the spectrum of identity, the installation moved along the parade route with a bright rainbow canopy, dynamically changing shaped and providing shade.
The project was a collaboration between Architecture LGBT+ and LFA, supported by Brookfield and Multiplex, alongside their suppliers.
